Each week of Lent we focus our attention on a particular theme from Sunday's gospel to direct our attention and prayer. A companion saint will guide us and a micro-task will put our yes to action.

Our Theme this week
The man in the gospel this Sunday was able to see because of Jesus. He experienced the light and went forth to illumine others with it. The real miracle was not his physical sight, but that of his faith that opened up to see and experience God in his life. This week, we ask God to touch our lives and open us up that we may share the light of His love and mercy with others.
Our Companion Saint
St. John Gabriel Perboyre, CM
A Vincentian saint who brought the light of the Gospel to the people of China, living in a land of darkness and oppression. His preaching and writing stirred the hearts of hundreds of thousands of people who converted to Christianity. He paid the price with his life, but his example lives on. We'll ask his intercession this week.
Our Micro-Task
Light and Shadow
Before bed each night in an examination of conscience, look back over the day and identify
-
One way you brought LIGHT to the world
-
A moment you darkened the workened
Then offer a prayer of gratitude to God and an act of contrition. Tomorrow, we begin again!

Our Theme this week
The woman at the well came for water to drink. She didn't get that. She got something so much more- beyond her imagining: Living Water. Jesus.
This week we're asked to examine our own desires and thirsts in life. What is it you're hoping will bring you true happiness?
Our Companion Saint
St. Mother Teresa
Not only did Mother Teresa receive living water that enabled her to live a life of sainthood, but she became that living water for others. She did what the woman at the well did-- she spent TIME with Jesus and opened to Him her life. We will ask her intercession to walk in her shoes.
Our Micro-Task
1 Person, 1 Kindness
Identify one person each day this week who is thirsty. Offer them one specific act of kindness to refresh their thirst and bring happiness:
-
A genuine compliment
-
A chore done for them
-
Just five minutes of undivided listening

Our Theme this week
As the disciples found out in the transfiguration on the mountain top, when we welcome Jesus into our lives and let him draw close, there is nothing to fear. All he asks is that we trust him.
Our Companion Saint
St. Faustina Kowalska
She is known as the "Apostle of Divine Mercy." Her entire spirituality was distilled into five words: "Jesus, I trust in you." She was constantly challenged by illness and trials, but taught that the more a soul surrenders to God, the more grace they receive.
Our Micro-Task
Palms up, Twice a day
What is one worry or source of anxiety in your life right now that feels overwhelming? Twice each day this week, open your hands and pray, "I leave this in your hands, Jesus." If helpful, download our GOD MOMENTS app that will remind you.

Our Theme this week
Obedience
Jesus was led into the desert to reconfirm His trust and YES to His Father before beginning His mission. This week we enter that same sacred place to do the same. "To YOU do I belong, O God...not me".
Our Companion Saint
Blessed Mother, Mary
Who better to accompany us this week than She who obediently said to God, "Let Your will be done in me." We'll begin each day's prayer this week calling upon her intercession and help to do the same.
Our Micro-Task
Turn a "maybe" to a "Yes"
Pick a spiritual work or command that you've grown lax in living...and this week give it your full attention and "Yes." Or choose 6, one for each day: Go to Mass, an act of kindness, spiritual reading, rosary, alms, journal, Confession...
