Coming Holy Saturday
6th Week of Lent
March 29 - April 4, 2026
Our Theme this week
Palm Sunday marks a pivotal moment in the
human story—when the crowds waved their
branches and laid down their cloaks, crying
out in joy as Jesus entered Jerusalem. They were ready to follow... but they didn't yet understand where the path would lead.
This Holy Week, we walk that same road. As we journey from palms to passion, from Sunday's celebration to Friday's desolation, we learn what it truly means to follow: not just when the crowd is cheering, but when the darkness falls; not just in the triumphal entry, but in the garden of abandonment; not just to the throne, but to the cross.
Our Companion Saint
St. Peter
Peter became the rock upon which Christ built his church, not because he never fell, but because he kept
returning to Jesus. He learned that following isn't measured by our strength, but by Christ's mercy that lifts us when we stumble. And get up again.
This Lent, let Peter walk beside you. When you fall, remember: Jesus is already preparing breakfast on the
beach, waiting to call you back to the path, to ask again, "Do you love me?" Your fidelity—however
imperfect—is enough.
Our Micro-Task
Triduum Retreat
During this Holy Week, join us in our Triduum Retreat. Set aside the time to enter fully into the opportunities
to draw near to Jesus and follow Him in prayer and adoration.

5th Week of Lent
March 22 - 28, 2026
Our Theme this week
Jesus reached into the cave and pulled Lazarus out of the darkness. He freed him from the shackles of death that immobilized him. One of the themes of Lent is FREEDOM. With God's help we can be liberated from the yoke of sin that enslaves us. Only God can free us from the forces of darkenss that diminsh our spirit-- despair, mediocrity, anger, fear...
Our Companion Saint
St. Paul, the Apostle
Once enslaved to zealous violence and self-righteousness, he was dramatically freed on the Damascus road. His writings are filled with freedom language: "For freedom Christ has set us free." What makes Paul such a remarkable companion is that he never forgot his chains. He wrote his greatest letters about freedom while literally imprisoned in Rome. He understood paradox: "When I am weak, then I am strong." "I have learned to be content in all circumstances." He knew that true freedom isn't the absence of constraint—it's the presence of Christ.
Our Micro-Task
App-stinence
Identify the one app or digital habit that feels most like a “compulsion”-- scrolling through news
feeds, posting on social media, playing games, etc. Delete it or silence it for this week. Use that
freed time- even if it’s just 10 minutes- to sit in silence and create space for God to speak.

Our Theme this week
The man in the gospel this Sunday was able to see because of Jesus. He experienced the light and went forth to illumine others with it. The real miracle was not his physical sight, but that of his faith that opened up to see and experience God in his life. This week, we ask God to touch our lives and open us up that we may share the light of His love and mercy with others.
Our Companion Saint
St. John Gabriel Perboyre, CM
A Vincentian saint who brought the light of the Gospel to the people of China, living in a land of darkness and oppression. His preaching and writing stirred the hearts of hundreds of thousands of people who converted to Christianity. He paid the price with his life, but his example lives on. We'll ask his intercession this week.
Our Micro-Task
Light and Shadow
Before bed each night in an examination of conscience, look back over the day and identify
-
One way you brought LIGHT to the world
-
A moment you darkened the workened
Then offer a prayer of gratitude to God and an act of contrition. Tomorrow, we begin again!

Our Theme this week
The woman at the well came for water to drink. She didn't get that. She got something so much more- beyond her imagining: Living Water. Jesus.
This week we're asked to examine our own desires and thirsts in life. What is it you're hoping will bring you true happiness?
Our Companion Saint
St. Mother Teresa
Not only did Mother Teresa receive living water that enabled her to live a life of sainthood, but she became that living water for others. She did what the woman at the well did-- she spent TIME with Jesus and opened to Him her life. We will ask her intercession to walk in her shoes.
Our Micro-Task
1 Person, 1 Kindness
Identify one person each day this week who is thirsty. Offer them one specific act of kindness to refresh their thirst and bring happiness:
-
A genuine compliment
-
A chore done for them
-
Just five minutes of undivided listening

Our Theme this week
As the disciples found out in the transfiguration on the mountain top, when we welcome Jesus into our lives and let him draw close, there is nothing to fear. All he asks is that we trust him.
Our Companion Saint
St. Faustina Kowalska
She is known as the "Apostle of Divine Mercy." Her entire spirituality was distilled into five words: "Jesus, I trust in you." She was constantly challenged by illness and trials, but taught that the more a soul surrenders to God, the more grace they receive.
Our Micro-Task
Palms up, Twice a day
What is one worry or source of anxiety in your life right now that feels overwhelming? Twice each day this week, open your hands and pray, "I leave this in your hands, Jesus." If helpful, download our GOD MOMENTS app that will remind you.

Our Theme this week
Obedience
Jesus was led into the desert to reconfirm His trust and YES to His Father before beginning His mission. This week we enter that same sacred place to do the same. "To YOU do I belong, O God...not me".
Our Companion Saint
Blessed Mother, Mary
Who better to accompany us this week than She who obediently said to God, "Let Your will be done in me." We'll begin each day's prayer this week calling upon her intercession and help to do the same.
Our Micro-Task
Turn a "maybe" to a "Yes"
Pick a spiritual work or command that you've grown lax in living...and this week give it your full attention and "Yes." Or choose 6, one for each day: Go to Mass, an act of kindness, spiritual reading, rosary, alms, journal, Confession...
