A wonderful opportunity for you, our faithful listeners, to share with us and each other your own reflections and spiritual insights. You choose a scripture passage, reflect and pray on it, and then offer a short reflection. Just like we do on the team.
Every month we will highlight one or two of your reflections to include in our daily prayer.
IT'S REALLY NOT HARD
The God Minute Team is just individuals (like yourself) in love with the Lord who are willing to share their story and faith. No training. No schooling (nor did the disciples of Jesus). Just a desire to give back and
offer their own spiritual wisdom.
We'd love to hear yours.
HOW IT WORKS
See What Stirs
Each month you will have 3 scripture selections from which to choose (see below).
Take a look, think about them. If one reaches out to you, stirs something...
Then take some time, reflect on it, see where the Spirit leads you in prayer. How does it touch your own life? Why do you think you were drawn to it? What's the "message", the Good News, you believe it wants all of us to hear?
Open it Up
Then find a quiet place and write your thoughts/reflection down. Imagine being in a candle lit room with a few other close friends. It's a faith sharing on scripture and it's your turn to share. You have 4 or 5 minutes.
You're not the leader or giving instruction-- just one of many sharing an experience of how God's Word has touched your life.
And what you hope others will also encounter.
Review, Edit, Send
When finished writing, set it down and walk away from it. Then, later on, go back and read it.
Like most of us the first draft will probably be too long. So now, go back in and edit it down to fit a 4 minute spoken reflection.
Now read it again as if you were some random person who happened to pick it up. How does it sound? Touching? Heartfelt? Inspirational?
Perfect! Send it to us.
