ST. ANN CATHOLIC SCHOOL, LIMURU, KENYA
A LETTER FROM THE PASTOR...
St. Ann is located in a semi-arid area with little rainfall and unfavorable conditions for farming activities. Most of the parents are financially constrained and unable to provide all the basic necessities for their families. They can barely provide for two meals a day. One reason of taking kids to school is for them to get a meal during lunch which we as the Vincentians strive to provide. This meal includes porridge for breakfast and rice with beans for lunch. The school administration also works hard to provide the needed learning materials which are also hard to get.
Currently, the school has 56 children. They are in dire need of scholastic materials, uniforms, and (in the future) a decent learning environment. They are currently using a tin structure which is in terrible condition. The parish community works hard to provide for meals and salaries for teachers. This school will be happy to receive any support to facilitate the learning and formation of our beloved children. Thank you God Minute!!
